The Duke of Edinburgh’s (DofE) Award is one of the most prestigious awards in the United Kingdom, so naturally we offer the opportunity to get involved to our cadets!

The Duke of Edinburgh Award is offered at three levels in the ATC- bronze, silver and lastly gold. All new starters are also able to complete the Pre-DofE award, which is a great introduction to the scheme.

Each level requires the young person to complete four sections (five at gold level) to claim their award:

• Volunteering

• Skill

• Expedition

• Physical

• Residential (Gold only)

Upon completion, the young person receives their certificate and a new badge for their brassard. The gold award may be presented at Buckingham Palace in the presence of the Royal Family and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh himself.
